, throwing him off his bike in an attempt to escape arrest. The allegedly stolen vehicle was driven by a 17-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy that were arrested in the course of the next few days.
The incident took place last Saturday at 2:22 p.m., on the Jameson Avenue and King Street West junction near Parkdale. A group of three bicycle cops spotted the stolen car waiting on a red light, but as they approached it the driver stepped on the accelerator. The sedan drove directly into one of the officers, throwing him on the stationary vehicle at the front and forcing him off his bike.
