Police have charged a 17-year-old and a 21-year-old-man

A teenager has been arrested alongside another man following an alleged stabbing outside Sanctuary nightclub on New Year's Day.

Emergency services rushed to the scene in the west end at around 1.45am on January 1, where they found the victim in a serious condition. The 20-year-old was blue lighted to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital following the attack. Another individual was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.Police have now charged a 17-year-old and a 21-year-old-man after the incident.Sign up to Glasgow Live newsletters for more headlines straight to your inbox

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Two men, aged 17 and 21 have been arrested and charged in connection with an assault that happened around 1.45am on Sunday, 1 January, outside sanctuary nightclub on Dumbarton Road, Glasgow.
