Police said the incident was captured on CCTV in the town's High Street at around 11.30pm on Wednesday, July 19.
It is claimed the 16-year-old suspect was seen approaching each of the men and"throwing punches" at their faces.He was charged with assault and is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today. Police said enquiries are ongoing to trace the four men involved and it is not known whether any of them suffered injuries during the incident.
