A teenager is in critical condition after being hit by a car in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to Balmore Road around 5.55pm yesterday after the 13-year-old boy was struck by a red Toyota Aygo.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing and police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the accident to get in touch, and in particular are looking for the driver of a white lorry who is believed to have been in the area at the time.Sergeant Nicholas Twigg said:"We are appealing for anyone who was in the area around this time and who witnessed the crash to contact us.
"I would also ask anyone who was on the road at the time and who may have dash-cam footage to get in touch."
