The teen suspect was able to get away with cash, police say.
AKRON, Ohio — A pizza delivery driver was robbed of cash Monday night in the Firestone Park neighborhood by a teen male armed with a handgun, police say.
The driver tells police he went to multiple locations in an attempt to deliver the pizza, but the addresses were incorrect. At about 9 p.m. he was waved down by a teen male on the 400 block of Lindenwood Avenue. The teen asked the driver if he had the pizza, then took out a handgun and demanded the driver’s money. The suspect, who was wearing flip flops and a red sweat shirt, ran from the area after taking the money.More crime-related content on cleveland.com
