The first teaser trailer for Bob Odenkirk's new AMC show Lucky Hank has been released amid more casting announcements and the show's March 19 debut.

AMC has released a new teaser trailer for their new Bob Odenkirk vehicle Lucky Hank. It will be Odenkirk's third time teaming up with AMC following their very successful partnerships on Breaking Bad from 2009 to 2013 and its spinoff Better Call Saul from 2015 to 2022, the latter of which starred Odenkirk in the title role.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY During Lucky Hank's Television Critics Association Winter 2023 panel on Tuesday, viewers, and critics got their first look at the new AMC show's 15-second teaser trailer. The clip featured a close-up of a bearded Odenkirk as William Henry Devereaux Jr., the main character of Lucky Hank, which has been likened to Better Call Saul by Odenkirk.

Better Call Saul All But Confirms It What We Know About Lucky Hank The show is based on a 1997 Richard Russo book called Straight Man, which was the original title for the show until it was recently changed to the current and final title, Lucky Hank. Season 1 of the show will be airing eight one-hour episodes on AMC and AMC+ starting on March 19, and we've already gotten a few sneak peeks of what Lucky Hank might look like.

Executive producing the dramedy will be Odenkirk, his wife Naomi, Breaking Bad producer Mark Johnson, Russo, Marc Provissiero, and famed comedy director Peter Farrelly, who will also direct. Lucky Hank was adapted for television by Aaron Zelman, who has worked on dramas such as Law & Order and Criminal Minds, and Paul Lieberstein, who played Toby and served as showrunner on The Office, where he worked with Odenkirk as a guest star.

Lucky Hank will also star Mireille Enos as Hank's wife, Lily Devereaux, who begins to question her path and choices as Hank's life starts to unravel, and Nunez, who worked with Lieberstein for the entire run of The Office and will play Devereaux's friend and boss, Dean Jacob Rose. In shorter, two-episode arcs, Bower will take on the role of William Henry Devereaux Sr.
