'Things aren't being taken seriously enough right now' -- Taylor Swift urges fans to 'truly isolate' to curb the spread of coronavirus
Taylor Swift attends the 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Jan. 5, 2020 in Beverly Hills, Calif.has some advice:"We need to make social sacrifices right now."
The singer/songwriter took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday night to say she's keeping an eye on her followers and seeing way too many social gatherings moving forward. "I love you guys so much and need to express my concern that things aren't being taken seriously enough right now," she wrote."I'm seeing lots of get togethers and hangs and parties still happening. This is the time to cancel plans, actually truly isolate as much as you can, and don't assume that because you don't feel sick that you aren't possibly passing something on to someone elderly or vulnerable to this.
, including Swift's own planned concert in conjunction with the March Madness college basketball tournament, which itself has been fully canceled.Taylor Swift has spoken! Y’all need to listen up! We need to be vigilant and care for those more vulnerable if not for ourselves!
