Actor Taylor Kinney, who plays Lt. Kelly Severide on NBC’s “Chicago Fire,” paid $2.75 million in March to buy a three-bedroom, 2,750-square-foot condominium on the 45th floor of a New East Side tower.

Kinney, 41, long has lived in Chicago and in addition to “Chicago Fire,” has played the same role on the TV shows “Chicago Med” and “Chicago P.D.” In 2017, Kinney paid $1.22 million for a 3,380-square-foot unit in a renovated loft building on the Near West Side.Now, Kinney has bought a unit closer to the lake. And the New East Side is a neighborhood that Kinney has resided in before, as he rented in the Aqua Tower before buying the Near West Side loft in 2017.
