Police arrest man who broke into Olivia Pratt-Korbel home as gunman remains at large
He is thought to have ran into the family home as he was targeted in a shooting. He was detained in hospital and recalled to prison. The gunman remains at large.
"That's not in relation to the murder of Olivia per se. The reason for that arrest is for breach of his existing licence conditions. The nature of that breach is for poor behaviour. He remains in hospital and, last update, he was in a stable condition." Her mother, Cheryl Korbel, 46, had opened the door after hearing gunshots. She was shot in the wrist as she tried to shut the door on the gunman.
"The people who did it aren't bothered. They are feral. It was a nice area, but it's just sad the way things have changed." "It was the same people involved in the shooting a few weeks ago in Akers Hall park. We know it was. It is two rival gangs chasing after each other."
