Sydney Sweeney recently opened up about filming her character Cassie’s nude scenes in Euphoria, and she actually praised the show’s director for never pushing her to appear naked.
, the 24-year-old actress shared that she had a conversation with showrunner and director, Sam Levinson, about Cassie's nude scenes."There are moments where Cassie was supposed to be shirtless and I would tell Sam, 'I don't really think that's necessary here,'" Sydney said. "He was like, 'Okay, we don't need it.' I’ve never felt like Sam has pushed it on me or was trying to get a nude scene into an HBO show.
She went on to explain that there's a "stigma" against female characters who are constantly naked in scenes. "When a guy has a sex scene or shows his body, he still wins awards and gets praise. But the moment a girl does it, it's completely different," Sydney said before calling out critics and claiming how proud she is of her work onand all of the sudden, critics are paying attention. People are loving me.
