The Golden Chopsticks restaurant along Route 11/15 in Shamokin Dam was condemned after the SUV's engine separated from the vehicle and crashed into the building.

Shamokin Dam Police Chef Tim Bremigen gave this account of the crash that occurred about 5:40 p.m. on Route 11/15: It continued south, striking two vehicles at 8th Avenue before crossing the northbound lanes and careening into a parking lot. There it smashed into a pole, a concrete barrier and a van with two occupants, pushing the van into the Golden Chopsticks restaurant.
Bremigen identified the driver as Theresa Risso, 42, of Selinsgrove, who he said was in stable condition at Geisinger Medical Center near Danville.
