Leeds United have moved to third in the Championship following fourth league win in five matches and Chris Sutton has given his verdict on Daniel Farke's start at Elland Road

Daniel Farke will guide Leeds United back to the Premier League at the first attempt despite the pressure of supporters 'wanting to find the next Bielsa'. That is the view of Chris Sutton, with the pundit believing the head coach's previous promotions with Norwich City stand the club in good stead to achieve their goal this term.

Leeds moved into third with a comeback victory against the Canaries in Farke's first return to Carrow Road. A brace from Crysencio Summerville following Shane Duffy's own goal snatched all three points, but the Whites still trail Ipswich Town in the automatic promotion spots by six points, with the Tractor Boys also holding a game in hand.

Sutton has hailed Farke's work so far at Elland Road, given the significant turnover of players in the summer following relegation. The former striker also reckons the head coach is under pressure in comparison to Marcelo Bielsa's success in leading the club to the Premier League in 2020, but has still backed Leeds to seal a top-flight return.Sutton told the Monday Night Club: "He's not an exact like-for-like .

"I don't necessarily think that was all down to him, the squad just wasn't strong enough. In terms of Leeds fans wanting an attacking brand of football, he certainly ticks that box. "He has had so much to deal with, there's been a big overturn of players and I suppose his biggest issue is all Leeds fans wanting to find the next Bielsa. I think he will get them up this season, I really do, just because of his knowledge of the Championship, his nous and know-how, and the way he sets his teams up. I think Leeds have done well to appoint him."
