CANTON, Ohio — A suspect in break-ins at two homes was killed Sunday when he was stabbed by a person in one of the residences, police say.
Police say the suspect, identified as Michael Harper, 44, of Alliance, was stabbed by a resident in the home after he broke in through a back door. Harper was taken to Aultman Hospital but he died of his wounds. No charges have been filed against the resident who stabbed Harper, but Garren says police are continuing to investigate and the case will presented to a Stark County Prosecutor’s Office.
