More than 1 out of every 3 employees at major tech firms would be okay with the government breaking up the largest companies in the industry

After years of operating with near-endless growth and minimal oversight, giant technology firms are facing the threat of more regulation. Governments around the world set up stricter protections for consumers and lawmakers in the United States start to launch hearings and investigations into the practices of companies like Google, Facebook and Apple.

More than three-fourths of employees at Amazon, Facebook and Google opposed the idea. Google and Facebook saw the most unified front against this, with 82.4 percent of employees at both companies saying they don't believe tech companies should face the crackdown.
