Southern California this weekend will remain sunny as some parts will continue to see hot temperatures.
A heat advisory is in effect through Saturday night for several parts of the region, including the San Gabriel, San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys. For regions impacted by the extreme heat, Monday will be the day temperatures will start to decline.
Los Angeles and Orange counties will be spared from the hot temperatures this weekend. On Saturday, the region will see fog in the morning and a high of 80 degrees for the afternoon. Similar weather is expected Sunday. The valleys and Inland Empire on Saturday will remain hot, with temperatures reaching 95. A breezy and hot Sunday is on tap, with temperatures in the low 90s.Mountain communities on Saturday will be warm, as a high of 86 is on tap amid sunny conditions.
Deserts on Saturday can expect to reach 104 degrees, with Palm Springs reaching 114. The region will get a slight break from the triple-digit heat Sunday when a high of 98 is on tap. The region be sunny and there will be some wind for the next few days.
