Temperatures in the 70s and possibly low 80s are expected for the remainder of the week after a cooler, rainy Sunday.
Despite wet weather expected to last most of Sunday, the rest of the coming week in the Harrisburg region should feature clear skies and relatively mild temperatures, according to the National Weather Service.
Sunday will remain rainy and somewhat cooler, with highs in the mid-60s in the Harrisburg area, according to the NWS. But clouds should clear in the early hours of Monday morning, leading to mostly sunny skies for the remainder of the week, the NWS is forecasting. Daytime high temperatures are expected to rise into the mid-70s on Monday, and into the upper 70s or low 80s by Wednesday, the NWS is projecting.Rain, mainly after noon. High near 65. Northeast wind 3 to 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.Showers likely, mainly before 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55. West wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
