Frenchman Saliba did a stunning job as he kept the dangerous Erling Haaland quiet for the large majority of the match.
Saliba produced a flawless display as he won 100% of his duels, completed 97% of his passes whilst committing zero fouls and was not dribbled past by any City players.The 22-year-old was due to link up with the France squad for the upcoming international break but has been forced to withdraw due to a toe injury., a statement said: “William Saliba is not able to participate in the gathering of the French team.
