When the Los Angeles Lakers take the court for the first time since the death of Kobe Bryant on Friday, StubHub will be donating the proceeds from sales to the game to the Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation. It'll do the same for a postponed game, too.
“In honor of Kobe and Gigi Bryant, all fees for the January 31st Lakers versus Portland Trailblazers game and the Lakers versus Clippers game – for whenever it is rescheduled – will be donated to the Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation,” Akshay Khanna, general manager of sports for StubHub, told USA TODAY Sports in a statement.
Prices for Friday’s home game against the Portland Trail Blazers at Staples Center have skyrocketed as many fans want to be present when the franchise is expected to pay tribute to Bryant,EMOTIONAL NIGHT:
