Ellie Leach has been flooded with messages from her former Coronation Street co-stars and fans as she debuted her first big Strictly Come Dancing makeover. The actress is among the 15 celebrities who have signed up to the 2023 run of the BBC One dance contest.
Strictly has teased fans by sharing the first picture of this year's celebrity stars together in all their glitz and glam for the first time. The female contestants - including Ellie, former Love Islander Zara McDermott, presenter Angela Scanlon and could all be seen putting on gorgeous leggy displays in gold dresses.
The outfit boasted a crossover front, that had been completely bedazzled, with capped sleeves and a tassled skirt. The look had been paired with some silver heels while Ellie's brunette locks had been tied up into a ponty with longer bangs kept down to frame her face. Instagram Paddy Bever, who plays Max Turner in the ITV soap, simply posted: "Beautiful." Former Corrie co-star Jack James Ryan shared: "rooting for you pal," while Waterloo Road star and fellow Strictly 2023 contestant Adam Thomas added two red love hearts.
