Amy Dowden was left ‘traumatised’ after she began losing her hair Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has revealed the devastating impact of losing her hair to chemotherapy. The dancer, 33, who recently revealed she nearly died during the treatment, said her husband Ben Jones would ‘hear her cry most nights’ when the hair loss began. Amy, who is battling stage 3 breast cancer, said: ‘I woke up one morning with quite a lot on the pillow, then I brushed it and quite a lot came out.
