Shirley Ballas recently jumped out of a plane to raise money for charity
BBC Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas has announced she is suffering from a health condition ahead of this year's series starting next month. The dancer has asked her fans whether "anybody else has suffered" after announcing on social media that she is suffering from vertigo, Birmingham Live reports.
The condition meant that she had to pull out of doing her regular yoga class this week. She said: "This week has been a little bit difficult with the dizziness."And so I didn't do any yoga this week - so it was a fantastic class today. And yeah. I really enjoyed it. Hot yoga which is... amazing. Anyway, I am feeling a little bit better now after I struggled this week and found it hard to get out of bed.
The judge said she began suffering from vertigo after jumping out of a plane last weekend to raise money for the Campaign Against Living Miserably, or CALM, a charity she is supporting in the wake of the tragic death of her late brother. Shirley Ballas will once again be on the judging panel when Strictly returns in September, with this year's contestants including comedian Les Dennis and actor Layton Williams.
