Scots are being warned of 'danger to life' winds as more grim weather is on the way.
Scotland is to endure wet and blustery weather as Storm Agnes will batter parts of the country this week.
A "danger to life" weather warning for wind is already in place by the Met Office for Scotland on Wednesday, September 27 and Thursday, September 28. Monday's forecast is set for scattered showers paired with moderate winds. Gusts are expected to reach up to 80mph in some areas on Wednesday, with warnings of possible injuries from flying debris, structural damage and transport delays. "There is some uncertainty on the precise track and strength of this weather system, however the most likely outcome at present is for a wide swathe of 50 to 60 mph gusts affecting inland areas.
