The grocery store chain closed stores in Dayton and Paramus earlier this year
Stop & Shop recently announced plans to close its Highland Park location.
The grocery store located at 424 Raritan Ave. is expected to close some time in 2023, although an exact date has yet to be determined. “After a detailed review of the operating performance of our stores, we have made the difficult decision to not renew our lease at our store located at 424 Raritan Ave in Highland Park, NJ,” Stefanie Shuman, external communications manager for Stop & Shop, told NJ Advance Media. “All store associates will have the opportunity to transfer to other area Stop & Shop locations.”
