During the match, Austin relentlessly drank beer at every available opportunity. Sometimes he spat and poured the beer on Owens mid match.
After having his hand raised for the victory, Austin drank beer and toasted with the crowd. He stunnered Owens once more, stunnered Byron Saxton and also managed to enjoy a beer with his brother who entered the ring.The WWE Hall of Famer would have to retire from wrestling after a heart scare the night before the match with The Rock. Although it was later confirmed not to be a heart attack, Austin’s body was breaking down at the age of 37.
