Despite some tough early reviews, The Peaky Blinders creator says the response to his BBC adaptation has been 'fantastic'

The BBC used to do these Sunday afternoon adaptations. The scenery used to move around and it was very, very low budget, but they used to get the best actors so the performances were always good.
