Whitehall officials said they had informally complained about the Health Secretary’s treatment of staff, according to reports
and accused an ambassador involved in accusations against Mr Raab of being a “complete wet wipe”.
Sir Simon McDonald, who was Mr Raab’s permanent secretary during his time at the Foreign Office, urged, warning that it could be unfairly vilified if the Prime Minister did not defend it from claims of having an “agenda”.
