STATINS are a group of medicines that are used to lower the cholesterol in your blood, helping to prevent heart disease and stroke. Like all medications, statins have potential side effects, some of which may be neurological.
The Mayo Clinic notes that the FDA warns on statin labels that some people have developed “memory loss or confusion” while taking statins.
