Disney, Disney Junior, and Lucasfilm announced the release date for the upcoming animated children's show Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures.
Disney, Disney Junior, and Lucasfilm announced on Thursday that the upcoming animated children’s showAlongside the announcement of a release date, two new images for the series were released, one of which showcases Master Yoda, Jedi younglings Kai, Lys, and Nubs, as well as their friends, Nash and RJ-83 on the planet of Tenoo. The second image shows Lys, Kai, and Nubs in a training sequence, with their lightsabers out and ready for practice.
The series will see the Younglings grappling with various topics, including compassion, self-discipline, teamwork, patience, and friendship. The series is set to premiere sometime in 2023. The series will see Michael Olson act as showrunner.series created for a younger audience, but it also marks one of the first series to be set in The High Republic era, a new era in thecanon that Disney established earlier this year.
