Los rasgos estilísticos habituales de la animación japonesa se funden ahora con las tramas de “Star Wars” en esta producción televisiva que se estrenará en la plataforma Disney+ el próximo 22 de septiembre.James Waugh, que es vicepresidente de Lucasfilm para el contenido y la estrategia de la saga, destaca “la visión única” que han aportado estos estudios de anime a la mitología de “Star Wars”.
Waugh también ha indicado que esta serie rinde homenaje “a una galaxia que ha sido de gran inspiración para muchos narradores visionarios”.Tras la controvertida acogida que tuvo entre los fans y la crítica la tercera trilogía de películas en los cines, “Star Wars” ha encontrado aguas más tranquilas y favorables recientemente en la pequeña pantalla.
El mejor ejemplo es la serie “The Mandalorian”, la primera producción televisiva no animada de “Star Wars” y que, con el chileno Pedro Pascal al frente, se ha convertido en un fabuloso fenómeno en todo el mundo.
