A Star Wars JediFallenOrder behind-the-scenes clip shows how the game's lightspeed planet transition looks from the outside of the Stinger Mantis.

A new behind-the-scenes clip from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order provides an interesting look at what the game’s lightspeed planet transitions look like outside of the Stinger Mantis.

This includes the ability to travel between several famous Star Wars planets, as Jedi: Fallen Order’s story took Jedi padawan-turned-outcast Cal Kestis and his newfound friends across the galaxy in search of the lost remnants of the old Jedi Order in the wake of Order 66 and the onset of the oppressive Galactic Empire.

The Stinger Mantis will fly once more in the currently-untitled sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which was officially confirmed alongside two other EA-published Star Wars games back in January. The plot of this new sequel is still largely unknown, but Cal Kestis’s actor Cameron Monaghan recently expressed hope that the next Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order game will take his character in a darker direction as he struggles to find his place in a galaxy at war.

One element from the first Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order game that is sure to return for the sequel is the ability to travel between planets in the Stinger Mantis, and seeing how the ship’s lightspeed travel works is fascinating for fans who have marveled at the phenomena throughout multiple Star Wars movies, shows, and video games.

A graduate from York County School of Technology, he's self-published several books on Amazon, and once won 1st place at a regional computer fair for a CGI animated short. He might post it on Youtube someday. He hopes that working for this site will be his first step into the larger universe of online writing, since Megazord technology hasn’t been invented yet and he doesn't seem to have any Force powers. You can check out his work at The Uncanny Fox, purchase his books on Amazon.
