Star Wars has introduced a new Sith world, steeped in the dark side - but how does it compare to previous Sith planets like Moraband and Exegol?
Star Wars has introduced a sinister new Sith world steeped in the dark side, Firrhana. Even the Jedi and the Sith don't know everything about the Force. There are locations and even planets rich in the Force, so-called Force vergences where it is possible for Jedi and Sith to achieve great feats or experience powerful visions. One such dark side vergence was seen in The Empire Strikes Back, with Yoda taking Luke Skywalker to a cave on Dagobah to face his greatest fears.

The Sith homeworld of Moraband is a classic example, a barren wasteland visited by Master Yoda in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Another is Exegol, a place where the veil between life and the netherworld of the Force is unusually thin, which played a prominent role in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
Star Wars' New Sith World, Firrhana, Explained Delilah S. Dawson's novel Inquisitor: Rise of the Red Blade tells the story of an Inquisitor named Iskat Akaris. In one of her earliest missions, she pursues Order 66 survivors to a planet called Firrhana. There, she is shocked to realize the Jedi have found their way to an ancient Sith world.She jerked on the controls, veering off toward a series of jagged black peaks in a field of blackened lava.
As soon as she stood on the ground of Firrhana, she knelt and put a hand to the planet's surface, once again opening herself to the Force. She felt that same old frisson of excitement, to see what would be revealed, and this time she was rewarded by the caress of dark side energy, ancient and deep and eagerly waiting to be woken by someone with potential.
