Assuming Star Wars' Galactic Empire tried to occupy Earth rather than blow it up with the Death Star, our military would easily defeat the Imperial forces. George Lucas designed the Empire to look imposing from the first scene of the Tantive IV fleeing the Imperial Star Destroyer in A New Hope. The average Star Destroyer is almost exactly a mile in length, making it large enough to overshadow entire cities with ease.
Earth's Weapons Would Be Able To Beat Most Imperial Threats The Galactic Empire has made itself so imposing that it’s almost completely forgotten the importance of stealth. At first, Star Wars blasters in real life seem like they’d overpower human guns, given blasters seemingly never or rarely run out of ammo. However, the bolts they fire carry the inherent flaw of being neon and luminescent. So while blasters may look cool, they’re a dead giveaway to the firer’s position.
