Most of these Easter eggs are visual elements planted on the planets Sherbal V and New Axton for fans of both franchises to spot, and with one exception, don't affect the plot at all.
8 The Moon Shuttle Is A Landspeeder, But Bigger From Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope After parking the Cerritos at the designated moon, Captain Freeman, Lt. Shaxs and Lt. Samanthan Rutherford have to take a moon shuttle to New Axton's surface. The design of the shuttle is based on the landspeeder used by Luke Skywalker , but it's orders of magnitude larger, with passengers able to use it as public transit instead of a small personal vehicle.
5 Mudd's Bar is the Mos Eisley Cantina From Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope Close Mudd's Bar is named for Harcourt Fenton Mudd , first seen in Star Trek: The Original Series season 1, episode 3 "Mudd's Women", and also the location where the away team attempts to find their desired information. The empty bar is a very close facsimile of the Mos Eisley Cantina.
