Music festival offers business insight to local artists

In a city filled with music — especially lately — St. Augustine can be a good place to launch or nurture an artistic career. But like any endeavor, it's more likely to be successful with a good strategy and business plan.

The moderator of the event was Arlis Albritton, a producer/songwriter who has recorded with artists including Luke Bryan, Jamey Johnson, Home Free and more. "Just being on those platforms and just understanding how the economy of TikTok works and what is popular and what is working ... staying up with those trends is incredibly important," said Pierce, who is a music executive and general manager for WORKS Entertainment.
