I-69 will be shut down in both directions at 610 beginning Friday at 8 p.m. and lasting until 5 a.m.
HOUSTON — We’re coming up on another weekend and you know what that means – freeway closures. The big one this weekend is one you’re probably a little familiar with.
It's the Southwest Freeway at the 610 West Loop. Both the northbound and southbound lanes of 69 will be shut down from Friday, September 8, at 8 a.m. through Monday, September 11, at 5 a.m. Your best bet is to avoid the Southwest Freeway in the area near the shutdown, but if you do need to drive it, here’s what
If you’re heading southbound, take the ramp to 610 northbound and then exit at San Felipe. U-turn there and get back on 610 southbound. From there, you can get back on the Southwest Freeway southbound. If you’re heading north, take the 610 West loop southbound to get to Bellaire, where you’ll U-turn and get back on the North Loop main lanes. From there, you can get back on the northbound lanes.interchange project, crews will close all northbound and southbound mainlanes of I-69 Southwest Freeway at I-610 West Loop Friday, September 8 at 8 pm until Monday, September 11 at 5 am.
