Baggage claim areas have become overrun with unclaimed luggage as stranded travelers confront another day of Southwest flight cancellations
The carrier cancels more flights for the coming days as a senator says the Commerce Committee would examine disruptions at the airline

Southwest canceled 2,595 flights, or 63% of its scheduled Tuesday departures, according to data from FlightAware. The airline said Monday its at least until Thursday. The carrier has canceled close to 11,000 flights since last Thursday as it has struggled to stabilize operations hampered amid the bad weather.
