Authorities in South Carolina are searching for Aspen Jeter, 5, who has vanished from her home in Orangeburg where her mother was found dead on Thanksgiving.
"At that location, deputies found a deceased female who had not been heard from since Nov. 1," the sheriff’s office said. The Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office says it responded to Jeter's home on Thanksgiving to conduct a welfare check.
"Investigating deputies learned the deceased female has a child named Aspen Jeter who was not located in the home," the office added. Greg Norman is a reporter at Fox News Digital.
