Dolls Kill is back with another killer collaboration, this time tapping into the charm of Hello Kitty and playing to our childhood nostalgia. On Friday, Dolls Kill dropped its new Hello Kitty collection of affordable apparel and accessories. Unlike most Hello Kitty merchandise, Dolls Kill's isn't so pretty-in-pink — there's plenty of mesh layering pieces, neon details, and even a clear PVC dress.
Standout items from the collaboration include a vegan leather motorcycle jacket with Hello Kitty's likeness on the back, and a coordinating set patterned with neon lights and Hello Kitty graphics . Cozy punks not interested in adding spikes or sheer layers to their wardrobe can opt for an oversized sweater and thermal onesie pajamas.
Hello Kitty has had quite the year of collaborations, first teaming up with Herschel for a line of minimalist backpacks and travel gear, and later appearing on the Balenciaga runway at Paris Fashion Week in the form of three statement bags. Just a year prior, Furla unveiled its collaboration with Hello Kitty as well. So, if anything is certain, it's that Hello Kitty is here to stay.
