Rihanna wore a velvet gown to her annual Diamond Ball, and it's peak cozy-chic. The look, designed by Givenchy, features a turtleneck and a mermaid skirt that stops short of the floor to reveal an unexpected detail: a white hoop skirt underlay.
Accessories were kept to a bare minimum to presumably let the dress take center stage. Through her piece-y hair pulled up into this very Clueless hairstyle, a simple pair of pearl stud earrings peaked out. She completed the look with white pointed-toe heels, letting the only pop of color be her fiery red coordinating lip and nails.
It seems that Rih may be creating a bit of a uniform for her annual charity event—starting with the second event in 2015, Rihanna has alternated between white/ivory and black for her gown of choice.
