A police officer has vowed 'this is just the start' after a series of raids were carried out in Gorton.

The raids were carried out as part of a crackdown into suspected drug-dealing and anti-social behaviour in the area.Inspector Dan Pickavance said 'this kind of behaviour will not go unanswered' as he vowed to continue the crackdown. He thanked local residents who were disrupted this morning.
"This is in response to the large amount of ASB that includes off-road bikes, drug-dealing and general nuisance in this area. I just want to let the good people of Gorton and Abbey Hey know that this kind of behaviour will not go unanswered.
