Murphy police identified the stepmother and father allegedly shot by 35-year-old son at Collin County, Texas, home on Monday in murder-suicide.

A husband and wife were killed by their son in a suspected murder-suicide at their home in Collin County on Monday evening, police say. About 6:15 p.m., officers in Murphy were dispatched to the 400 block of Whisperfield Drive, near Garden Laurel Drive, where officers found a 57-year-old woman shot dead in the driveway and a 63-year-old man fatally shot inside.
Police identified the woman as Tracy Kay Cantu and the man as Federico Cantu Jr., who owned the home. The alleged shooter, 35-year-old Vincent Cantu, was pronounced dead at the hospital of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.Email Address
