V jealous of Michael B. Jordan!
Snoh Aalegra is ending 2019 on a romantic note. On Friday the singer dropped the video for “Woah” off her sophomore studio albumThe NO SCHOOL and Izabelle P. Wilson-directed video begins with Snoh in a lush garden and then positioned in front of a mansion. Later, she’s joined by her love interest, Michael B. Jordan, who holds on to her every note in each scene.
Kissing on a road, dancing in the kitchen, reading to her while in the bathtub — the video is so steamy it's"Snoh wrote this song about love in its highest form, love for music, love for love," Izabelle tells. "She was talking about a euphoric feeling that she sometimes gets when doing music. We wanted to create a visual that could transcend that emotion."
Born Shahrzad Fooladi to Iranian parents in Sweden, Snoh gained critical acclaim for her debut project— but also received cosigns from Prince and Drake early on in her career. In addition to headlining her own tour, Snoh is nominated for two Swedish Grammys. "The idea was to embody that surreal place between dream and reality that comes with being in love," Izabelle adds about the visually appetizing video.
