A smashed Audi has appeared on the grounds of the Royal Victoria Hospital as police investigate reports of an assault on two men

Video has begun circulating on social media of police officers inspecting a damaged blue Audi on the grounds of the West Belfast hospital this evening. The windows of the vehicle have been smashed during an alleged assault, which did not take place within the grounds of the hospital, with a patient being taken there in the car.Police have said they are aware of speculation surrounding the incident and that at this stage it is not being treated as a shooting.
