Free breakfast! The one-day-only menu will include three different vegan breakfast sandwiches, all prepared on vegan biscuits, and pancakes.
Free breakfast is coming to Slutty Vegan’s Birmingham location. Well, for a few hours, at least.
On Sunday, March 26, the restaurant will offer patrons a special pop-up breakfast menu from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. while supplies last.
In addition to the breakfast pop-up, Cole will be on-site for a book signing of her recently released cookbook “Eat Plants B*tch!” a collection of 91 vegan recipes. Released late last year, “Eat Plants, B*tch” features recipes from breakfast creations and tapas to Jamaican dishes from Cole’s childhood. Also on the rundown: hacks for vegan cooking, plant-based substitutes and complementary dips, jam, jellies, and gravy. The cookbook garnered Cole a 2023 NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Instructional Literary Work.
