Rod Stewart and his son have avoided a criminal conviction despite pleading guilty to battery under a plea deal reached with prosecutors in Palm Beach, Florida.
As part of the agreement the judge “withheld adjudication” which, under Florida law, means a conviction is not recorded against the defendants.Neither the 76-year-old rock star nor his 41-year-old son, Sean, were in court when their attorney, Guy Fronstin, entered a plea on their behalf.
