“The entire process of setting up the infrastructure took six days,” Joseph Tan, a member of the organizing committee for the temporary facility, told Reuters on a visit. Despite the high total of cases, Singapore has reported 12 deaths and 24 people are in intensive care. Authorities are also trialing a four-legged robot dog built by Boston Dynamics at the facility, which they said could be used to deliver medicines to patients or take their temperature.
