Dr. Kuok Meng-Han, the son of Singapore billionaire Kuok Khoon Hong, leads biotech labs to export COVID-19 test kits
To date, more than 3 million people worldwide have been confirmed to have been infected by COVID-19 and over 211,000 have died from the pandemic.Dr. Kuok Meng Han managing director of Cametch and Dr. Johnson Ng CEO of JNMedsys.Camtech’s rapid test kits are intended to be used to quickly screen and identify asymptomatic carriers of COVID-19, but they are not meant for “confirmatory testing” or as a sole basis of diagnosis.
Outside of Southeast Asia, JN Medsys says its tests will be distributed in Europe and South America soon. Both companies said they were unable to provide further details at the moment “due to deal confidentiality and capacity issues.”
