The TalkSport host doesn't think the Ibrox decision makers 'get it' in the way they should.
Simon Jordan reckons Rangers' recruitment process is a case of the "blind leading the deaf" as he struggles to understand the thought process behind recent appointments.
"It doesn't matter how much stature you have. If you open your mouth and the players don't buy into something," Jordan told TalkSport. "It doesn't matter what you've done, it's what they think of you in that moment. "It feels like a case of the blind leading the deaf to me at times. If you get Souness involved, and I don't know how involved Graeme was, but if you're going to interview these guys, you need a Souness in the room because of the football and intellectual capital he brings to the equation.
