No one does geek chic quite like Alessandro Michele.
Author:Dara PrantPublish date:Jul 15, 2019Updated onJul 15, 2019Sienna Miller headed out East this past weekend to celebrate Gucci's summer collaboration with Melet Mercantile, a local Montauk outpost and vintage shop, that's offering up a curation of the Italian house's wares through July 28. For the occasion, the British actress hit us with an excellent prep school look à la Alessandro Michele from his Spring 2019 collection.
The cute and quirky ensemble featured an orange multicolor wool rib stitch jacquard vest with an embroidered piglet appliqué on the front, which she paired with a white and green Eternal G printed silk pleated mini skirt, light blue slides with crystal detail and cat-eye shades. Miller kept her accessories to a minimum, wearing only a dainty gold chain necklace.
The geek chic outfit had Gucci written all over it, both literally and figuratively: The prints slightly clashed, but in a brilliant way; the top looked a vintage wonder taken from an old man's closet; and the shoes were a bit much, but totally worked. And when paired with Miller's sun-kissed signature beauty look — effortless blonde waves and light, barely-there makeup — it became a very cool summer party look.
