Two men were taken into custody Thursday morning in connection with a 2022 traffic stop during which shots were fired in east Alabama.

Thomas Griffith, 24, of Anniston was the motorcyclist that had been stopped. The motorcycle was stolen. This morning, the FBI arrested both suspects on charges being a felon in possession of a firearm. Hurst said both likely will also face state charges.
